The book comes in a sturdy box with some travel stickers. It has a hard cover and a little metal clasp for keeping it closed. The pages are all brown, quite thick and good quality with some beautiful vintage printing on them. It has two bookmark ribbons and inside the rear cover is an envelope pocket with a vintage style map on.I’m not really sure why it has been printed with ‘guest book’ on the front as the whole thing screams ‘travel journal’ to me. The stickers are travel styled and there are various pictures inside with things like compasses, ships, maps and place names. The ad states that it has 124 pages with each page having a different style, but there are actually only 16 differently designed pages which are repeated throughout the book – this was a little disappointing. I will be adding my own style to the front of the book to cover up the writing there and then using it as a journal, which it is ideal for in my opinion.

This comes beautifully presented in a colourful, sturdy gift box.The book itself is really stunning.It is really well made and put together from good quality paper stock.The bindings are nicely done and the pages almost lay flat without additional coaxing.The cover is hardback with PU leather bindings and corner protectors. This is quite a tough book.There are a few different style pages (as shown in the listings advertisement and a few in my photos) these pages can look a bit intimidating and cluttered in places making it confusing as to what you write in them and where.However, there are many pages that leave good expanses of room to write as you wish.On the back inside cover is an "expanding" pocket for storing keepsakes and photos. I think this is a bit optimistic as when full you will not be able to close the book. But for important pieces of paper etc this is a good bit of storage to have.It comes with a nicely moulded, gothic style, metal clasp that holds the book nicely together.The versatility of this "Guest" book is such that it can be used as a journal, keepsake book, travel companion as well as a guest book for any manner of party or event.It comes with a series of travel stamp style stickers that you can use for attaching photos or receipts etc to the main pages.I've given it 5 stars based on versatility and build quality.I was tempted to go with a 4 due to the fact that the pages are not very intuitive if used as a guest book.A guest book you need to be able to open the book quickly, see where you need to write and do it quickly. This book needs a bit of thought before writing.Other than that, this is a great value, well made, stunning looking, versatile book that will last.

I am absolutely delighted with this book; it's such good quality. It's not a guest book as I know them, but more like a memory book/photo album/scrapbook. It comes presented in a nice box so would make a lovely gift. I did think the cover design was 3D but it's just printed on. I like the little clasp closure. The pages inside are a good weight, they will withstand photos and more being stuck on them and pens do not bleed through them. The pages are all in a shade of brown to add to the vintage look, with various designs printed on which made it quite like a travel journal, which is how I'll be using it. The cover does not suit that theme so I will be decorating it accordingly. I think it's a great book with a lot of potential for creativity. Definitely 5 stars.
