I'm a Bryan Adams fanatic, and I play guitar (he was the one who inspired me to take up the hobby years ago) so I am always thrilled when a new guitar tab edition comes out. I pretty much have them all. I was excited when I saw this the other day, and ordered it promptly. Now, I hate giving bad reviews, but in this case I have absolutely no choice, as you will soon see.Firstly, I was going to list the songs in the book, but the transcriptions were so absolutely amateurish and incomplete, I don't even want to waste time with the song list. So, why is this book so so bad?To start with, lets compare this to actual guitar tablature. Normally guitar tab has two staves, one at the top that shows standard notation, where you can see the length of each note; half note, quarter note etc. And the staff below where it shows what actual notes are being played in tablature. This book doesn't have the standard notation above the tablature, so you have no way of knowing the length of each note.Secondly, in songs where Bryan and Keith are playing two different rhythm parts, like say in "Can't Stop This Thing We Started" or "Cuts like A Knife" the secondary (Keith's part) guitar part isn't even shown. It literally shows only Bryan's guitar part.Thirdly, most of the songs don't even have the solos included. For example, "It's Only Love", "Don't Drop That Bomb On Me" and "Native Son." Most fans would agree those three songs are the absolute best Keith Scott solos, and THEY AREN'T EVEN INCLUDED IN THIS BOOK!! This is absolutely unforgivable.Without exception, the songs are way too short. Many are only a page and a half to two pages. That's because they don't show all the parts that need to be shown. Overall this book is so amateurish, it looks like they just got online and went to a guitar tab site and pulled some songs off the internet. Oh, I will also mention "Here I Am." A solo is shown in the book, but it's definitely not anything close to the actual solo for the song, so I have no idea what this author was trying to transcribe. And "Run To You"? It doesn't even mention that there is supposed to be a capo on the second fret, or tuned up a full step. There is no way I could recommend this book to anyone. If you want a great Adams guitar tab book, get the "Greatest Hits" one that came out in the early 2000's. Superbly transcribed and even edited by Bryan himself. After writing this I am going to throw this book in the trash. I just hope my review keeps others from making the same mistake I made, and save you some money.
