I used this manufacturers pads, sizes 1, 2, and 3mm respectively, to bring my overheating RTX 3080 back to life. And yes, in case you were wondering, it is in fact a gigabyte card.Installation was simple enough and the pads have, like, just the right amount of adhesion. Making them stick only to what you want as opposed to sticking to absolutely everything else.They also retain that adhesion at a very reasonable level. I learned this after accidentally placing the 2mm cards on the wrong side of the die. I was able to easily remove them and still get them to stick on the proper sideAfter having put all the pads in the right placeand bolting the card back together, I stuck her in the PC, booted it up, and saw the bios screen.That in and of itself was quite promising to me because while it would boot up from time to time... maybe.... it would run 10 minutes at most with a lot of artifacts and a crash. Well now with it having been a few weeks, I can safely say my issue has been resolved. Card's been running one hunnit percent fine, completely without a hitch.These pads have been absolutely pulling some heat away!My highest observed temperature: 72°.After 4-5 hours playing Metro:Exodus RemasteredAt 1440p on Ultra settingsAll in all, solid value
