These braces look good but as for holding up trousers they are useless. My husband attached them to a pair of trousers and after a couple the trousers started to slide down. The materials used to make these braces is obviously poor quality. They just stretch and keep stretching so the trousers side down. A

It's not noticeable until someone gets closer to you, then they figure out what it is and get a good laugh!It's a 4-point "X" style, which I prefer to the Y-shape.My only comment is that the suspenders are extremely long compared to the ones I got from Hot Topic. To adjust these to wear, the metal clips were tightened so far they ended up in the middle of my back. I can do a little sewing, so I cut the loops on the front and shortened them permanently--I cut off more than a foot of elastic and it's still plenty adjustable for me now. This is obviously preferable to being too short, but I do feel that it was *almost* unwearable before and I kept getting comments that my suspenders were on backwards. If you are on the shorter side, or the thinner side, you may want to be prepared to alter this a little bit.

I sent for these as sort of a joke for my husband to wear to a country fair. Even fully extended he could barely get them on, and the straps are extremely narrow, which makes the design all but invisible. They look silly on a man, period. They had to go back.
