It's expensive for what I use it for (papers, unanswered letters, etc), but its hella useful. Great Quality and I havent been able to find anything cheaper with comparable build quality

I work remotely from a small desk with two monitors and I am always searching for ways to maximize my desk space. I have an under the desk cable organizer and I recently purchased an adjustable monitor riser which I love. My work laptop was taking up valuable real estate on my desk so I bought one of those gadgets that can fit on a desk and hold the laptop vertically. That was not the answer, so back to Amazon I went and looked through other solutions. I came across a few of these and settled on this one because it had a minimalist design...I don't need pen holders etc. Just something to hold the Dell laptop. This thing is fantastic, I took it out of the box and screwed it to my desk and that's it. Dell slides in nicely, no problem. The small docking station I have plugged into it is now accessible, which I love since I sometimes need to access those cords. This thing is the bomb-diggity, with little pads to protect your desk. And you don't need much of a lip to attach it to, just make sure you have enough of an edge on your desk. I slipped some scratch paper in front of it since I like to jot down notes from time ro time, so now that is handy to! Easily five stars on this rating.

Great idea to use some vertical space on the side of your desk.Simple attachment with 2 knurled nuts. Nice that the jaws to attach the organiser to your desk are very wide.Once attached, being mild steel, it feels secure enough to trust your laptop too. The pic above is with a 17" laptop which is really too big, but shows that the fixing is secure.Finish is nice, white powder coat.Handy storage solution at a reasonable price.
