Dit sterke langbeugelslot is ideaal voor het snel vastzetten van fietsen, motorfietsen, scooters, tuingereedschap of dure machines.
Beschermd tegen regen en vuil
Met de praktische framehouder kan het slot gemakkelijk aan het fietsframe worden bevestigd. De geharde, dubbel vergrendelde beugel en de stabiele behuizing zijn ter bescherming tegen krassen met zwarte kunststof ommanteld. Het slot van de HB 1600 170/210 is met behulp van de beweegbare beschermkap betrouwbaar beschermd tegen weersinvloeden en daardoor bijzonder duurzaam.

Es ist ein sehr stabiles Schloss. Leicht zu öffnen und zu schließen. Ich habe es als zusätzliche Sicherung für mein E-Bike gekauft und habe das Gefühl, dass es seinen Zweck erfüllt.Es hat allerdings auch einiges an Gewicht, was mich aber nicht stört, sondern mein Vertrauen in dieses Schloss eher bestärkt.Gut finde ich auch, dass man ein kleines Türchen über das Schlüsselloch schieben kann, sodass kein Dreck hineingelangt.

Reviews on this Burg-Wachter lock are good and bad. The lock is chunky in size which is what I was looking for to replace the years old Oxford D-Alarm Max on my front motorcycle wheel due to a recent theft attempt. Because the lock barrel was damaged from the attack I had to cut the it off as the key no longer worked. I needed a replacement so I saw this Burg-Wachter lock at a good price but from the first try the lock was sticking and would not turn the key fully without jiggling the lock. I thought it's new and will break in with use. I even tried WD40 but to no avail. The lock worked for a very short time. Reviews stated this lock is very difficult to open. I thought people were not using the lock properly. But indeed you really have to strongly yank the body of the lock with the key fully turned to detach the shackle which is real pain especially when in a rush. This lock is not very weatherproof with it being constantly outside even with the key slide cover it get water inside. So the reason why it has failed I think it is down to the build quality of the lock itself. It does kind of still work with a lot of jiggling but its not worth the hassle when it took over 10mins and with a bit of luck to get it open. So I'm not going to risk it and trust it again. I will get another Oxford D-Alarm by far a much better product being all metal. A tad more expensive but reliable 24/7
