MISSES' STAYS EN CORSET: Gevoerd, nauwsluitend, steunen en korset hebben uitgebreide baleinen en gekochte of zelfgemaakte oogjes voor veters en aanpassing van de pasvorm. D: gekocht trim. OPMERKINGEN: Blijf A, B: 1/4 "Double Fold Bias Tape, een paar 90" witte laarsveters, een paar 18" schoenveters of 1 yd. van 1/8" koord, metalen oogjes: Vierentwintig voor A en vierenveertig voor B. Ook voor A: (optioneel) 25/8 yds. van 1/8" snoer. Corset C, D: 1/4 inch dubbele vouw biaisband, een paar 90" witte laarsveters of 25/8 yds. van 1/8 "koord, tweeëntwintig metalen oogjes, een korset Busk, 1/2" lint: 8 yds. voor C en 81/2 yds. voor D. Ook voor D: 11/2 yds. van 1/2 "enkelzijdige geschulpte kanten rand. STOFFEN: Linnen, Zijde, Broadcloth en Damast. Interfacing: Canvas. Voering A, B, C, D: katoen en satijnkatoen. Niet geschikt voor duidelijke diagonalen of plaids. Laat extra stof passen bij strepen. Grundsätzlich schöner Schnitt. Ist leider aber ohne der versprochenen deutschen Anleitung gekommen. Somit nur begrenzt umsetzbar...

I got this just to make a corset for myself - but I'm quite pleased with the pattern layout, unlike regular patterns where you cut away for any smaller size, this pattern has each different size as completely separate pieces. Perfect as I make costumes for people often, so I can use this pattern for many more sizes!And actually - considering the complicatedness (that's a word) of making a corset - the pattern instructions are super easy to follow (I mean, not for a beginner probably, but even as an advanced sewer I find patterns that confuse me often).Another reviewer mentioned this pattern not being historically accurate or something like that - not, it's not. But it's actually a really close modern costume version, it's not meant to be anything different IMO.Just remember to buy the waist size that you're intending to be cinched to - they have the sizes written for the end result measurements when fully laced closed. So might even want to buy this pattern a bit smaller if you want the lace to have some space inbetween.
