Per ora molto soddisfatto: lo uso tranquillamente su un Apple Studio Display ed è in grado di effettuare lo switch tra un MacBook Pro e un pc Windows, ovviamente entrambi dotati di porta Thunderbolt. Ho usato i suoi cavi e non ho nemmeno provato a utilizzare il cavo Thunderbolt del monitor.Mantiene la risoluzione 5k a 60hz.Se continua a funzionare (sgrat sgrat...) è la soluzione perfetta per collegare 2 computer ad un Apple Studio Display.La prova del 9 quando arriverà il Mac mini...

You may scream like I did. TL;DR - The hookup has to be exactly right to work. Besides the issue described below, it works very well. The cables are sturdy and it works perfect after the correct configuration is in place.Storytime:I have it switching between a work and personal computer. Both computers (1 Mac, 1 Windows) feed into a dock that handles all my peripherals. HDMIx2, keyboard, mouse, and USB headphones. In order to connect it to my dock, I needed to buy a female to female USB-C connector.This is where the issues began, but by the end you’ll see they are easy to fix.On initial hookup nothing worked. Only the lights on the device would switch. I trouble shot and got one computer connect through the dock. Tried to add a second, no bueno. Frustrated I looked through the reviews to find an answer. Nothing. I noticed the couplers I bought were not indicating power, they have small leds on them. Read the reviews there and for that product and found the issue.Both the switch, and the USB-C require very specific connection. This means that I had to rotate the USB-C connector and the cables coming from the computer to the dock. Not only were my couplers the issue, the cables had to be rotated in some instances. It took some trial and error but it finally worked. I marked all the connection with 1 dot to show which way was up and then 2 dots to indicate signal flow.The USB-C connectors are made by Poyiccot and are purple. They are available from Amazon.

I’ve been looking for something that’d switch my Apple Display between MacBook Pro and Mac mini, and this product does exactly that.I wish it had a wired remote control, like some other switchers do, or had all the cables coming out of the same side. Right now it is awkward to place on the desk and there’s no clean way to position it without a mess of visible wires. Would’ve been much better with rear-facing ports.

So far it has fulfilled my expectations for the setup I currently have. MacBook Pro M1 + Mas Mini M4 sharing an LG Ultrafine 5K monitor.The only drawback is the flexibility of the cables, but it supports the monitor's resolution well and the switching delay is not significant. Although the packaging is plastic, the quality is reasonable and the remote control works well.
