The adapter works as expected. You have to do a firmware first but that is pretty easy to do. Once you have the latest firmware going it works a treat. Special note: this adapter does not support VRR.

Op een Nvidia 3060 TI geeft dit net iets meer mogelijkheden naar m'n TV scherm dan de standaard HDMI poort. Ik kan over 10 meter (actieve) HDMI kabel 4K @ 120 Hz halen.

I've long wanted to embrace the one cable life with my Macbook but always had to compromise. Comprato perche leggendo i vari forum , sembrava essere l'unico adattatore in cui funziona il vrr. Provato quindi su nvidia 4080 e tv lg , effettivamente sono riuscito a ottenere 4k 120hz e vrr attivo. L'unica cosa è che su lg il logo g-sync non era presente , ma solo vrr , comunque il funzionamento era corretto

Jugando en 120 HZ y HDR desde una RTX 2070 Super con una LG CX a 10 bit que era el objetivo, a veces parpadea para aceptar alguna resolucion pero cumple su objetivo, acompañado con un cable HDMI 2.1 se puede lograr esto...

Tested a different adapter before and it didn't work with 4k@120 but this one finally does! Works fine with LG OLED C2 and RTX 2080 Super. If you get intermediate "signal lost" when launching full screen applications or games make sure to disable G-Sync. No DP - HDMI converters support VRR, so that is expected and nothing wrong with this adapter.

I use it on the Displayport 1.4 port on my GPU to output 4K 60Hz 10bit signal to my projector. It also supports 12bit output, but since I haven't found a use case (UHD BD are 10bit color depth), I keep the output at 10bit.This converter works nice with 15m optical fiber HDMI cable (phoossno Gen 2 Certified 8K Fibre Optic HDMI 2.1 Cable).
