I predominantly use Espresso to make my Latte. Two shots in a cup of micro- milk foam. Experimenting with the various Nespresso varieties, I finally found the Starbucks Nespresso series. I love the smell and aroma of the Blonde and add the punch of the Classic Espresso to it. On my quest to find alternatives and maybe an Espresso that has both, punch and aroma, I stumbled across Illy, a well known brand from my days back in Europe.Here is what I found:The capsules work flawlessly, like the original Nespresso capsules.The smell andvtadte is a little underwhelming. I was afraid when I read ‘Bold Roast’ on the box it would be too much, but it's the opposite.Maybe I got used to the American way, where coffee is not roasted, but burnt. It's been ten years.…
