It can pour as a very strong coffee. At first I hated, then I still hated but got used to it. I thought it would be environmentally friendly as it is compostable but it’s also individually packed in a thick wrapping so there’s a lot of garbage associated with it. The smell is bad. So bad that my friends came to a party at my house at refused to drink it because of how the package smelled when open. I’m still drinking it but considering throwing it away

Al jaren koop ik deze pads. De laatste 2 dozen lopen de pads niet meer door. Machine heeft het moeilijk, dus we kunnen ze niet meer gebruiken. Lijken te compact. Meerdere apparatuur geprobeerd bij familie. Jammer want het was echt onze favoriete koffie.

It's not working with regular pad machines, I emptied one pad into moka pot and it was really bitter, although I am a coffee drinker. the red one.

Zeker niet onze smaak hier, veel te bitter. Overigens staat dat de verpakking te reclycen is maar die bestaat uit papier met plastic...lijkt me niet mogelijk om die fatsoenlijk te reclycen

Heerlijke koffie, snel geleverd.

Snel geleverd en de smaak is heerlijk. Ideaal voor een lekkere espresso, americano, of bijv cappuccino. Reeds 3x besteld en tot nu toe bevalt deze koffie mij zeer goed. Zeker gezien de prijs.

First time using Caffe Borbone Gold Blend and it won't be the last. What attracted me to it was "Neapolitan" of which I am no stranger. I have been using one of those funny little pots that you put coffee into the top and hot water into the bottom which is then turned upside down. to make the coffee.My problen when I bought my E.S.E. pod machine was finding an equivalent taste. All were mostly too weak. That was until I found Caffe Borbone Gold. The coffee has quite an authentic, Neapolitan taste I was looking for, quite strong but smooth and sweet.I make it as an espresso and add warm milk and hot water to 180ml for a milky Americano which is perfect for me at all hours of the day. But I think the pods will work equally well as a Lungo. As I make it I get quite strong body, milk chocolate and minimum acidity.Just one criticism: The pods don't have the green printing designating it as compostable as illustrated in the product description. But that's something of a mute point because it's the coffee that matters.Overall, highly recommended and a well deserved 5 stars.

Great, rich tasting Italian espresso that's easy to use and does not go stale because each pod is individually wrapped in a sealed packet. As good as, and much cheaper than, other Italian brands. Just make sure your machine can work with ESE pods.
