I was using a camera tripod to mount my projector. However, it was subject to vibration and didn't provide sufficient stability. I saw this particular stand and these are my impressions:1. Strong construction - pay a little more and get excellent quality. The platform is STEEL, not plastic as some of the less expensive ones are ...2. The wheels screw into the legs - not those that you have to push in to seat them. Therefore, metal, not plastic!3. The knobs for each of the stand sections are large enough to turn easily. For an older person, this is ideal as round knobs aren't easy for arthritic fingers to handle.4. the table uses four (4) bolts with nuts to secure it properly to the stand itself. Make sure you have a screwdriver and a pair of pliers handy to tighten them (These are not supplied with the stand.)5. The projector platform has a foam insert - perfect for damping vibrations that might affect the projector.6. The two stretch straps provided have just enough tension to hold the projector securely.What could be added? It would be great if a small decal was provided to give the number of degrees tilt so you can adjust the keystone easier when projecting. Overall, I give this unit a 100% recommendation to anyone needing a projector stand.
