I wanted it for painting my toenails not playing the guitar :) Its a bit low for what I wanted, but works well if I put it on a box.

If you are a new starter or professional guitar player, this item is a nice and sturdy piece equipment, perfect for classic guitar players.

It appears to be generally thought that 11 cm is the minimum height guitarists need. As such it would be unfair to give less than 5 stars. HOWEVER I use a 7.5 cm (front edge) height. I achieve this by putting a piece of metal between the underside of the foot plate and the place where the "legs" cross. I occurs to me that the manufacturer could trivially offer a greater range by supplying a variety of metal tubes [say] with a range of diameters and of the right length. The actual device is not modified by this, and the original heights are still available.

Very vulnerable

For anyone who plays guitar in a seated position, there is always a search for something to put your foot on to raise the fretboard to a comfortable, playing angle. This foot stool has 6 positions and should accommodate all sizes of guitar (and person). I've used it with a telecaster and a small-bodied Tanglewood acoustic, sitting on an office chair - not an ideal setup - but I was able to find a good position quite quickly. Sturdy and adjustable and light enough to be portable.
