Im Gegensatz zu etwas preiswerteren ähnlichen Produkten mit geringer Auflösung macht diese Mikroskopkamera Fotos mit 8 Megapixel und HD Videos. Die verbaute Optik muss relativ gut sein, da die resultierenden Bilder eine ordentliche Tiefenschärfe haben. An der Handhabung ist nichts auszusetzen, alles funktionierte einwandfrei. Der angegebene Vergrößerungsfaktor ist zwar maßlos übertrieben, es entstehen aber gute Makroaufnahmen.Beim Einsatz mit dem Handy ist keine Verkabelung notwendig. Die hierzu erforderliche, im Playstore erhältliche App „Wifi Check“ ließ sich auf einem Samsung Galaxy S10e mit Android 12 schnell und problemlos installieren und über den von der Mikroskopkamera erzeugten WLAN-Hotspot verbinden. Die Auslösung der Aufnahme ist in der App möglich, sodass keine Gefahr eines Verwackelns an der Mikroskopkamera besteht. Die erzeugten Fotos/Videos werden in einem eigenen Ordner in der Galerie gespeichert und lassen sich von dort weiterverarbeiten. Bei Verwendung dieser App lässt sich der Digitalzoom des Handys zusätzlich nutzen, was wegen der hohen Auflösung auch keine gravierende Verschlechterung der Bildqualität verursacht.

Good quality

I was somewhat skeptical when I decided to buy this digital microscope but I am very pleased I did. I wanted a way to look at my newly sharpened knife edges. Well this unit does a great job. the magnification gets me a very close look at my edge and is easy to use. Being wireless via wifi makes it easier to manipulate. I have used it both with my smartphone and my laptop monitor. Both ways work just fine although I seem to get a better resolution image on the laptop. The variable magnification is a plus too. I also like that I can adjust the light to suit my needs. I don't use the stand but it is made of metal and seems to be of good quality. If you sharpen blades this product can help you see your refined edges and help you to hone your skills, pun intended.

Most of the USB or wireless microscopes of this size are using 640x480 sensors -- they basically amount to a webcam with a magnifying lens... and not a very good webcam at that. The image quality of this microscope is far, far superior to those other devices. You can actually see details of objects! For the price, it's a no-brainer. Don't waste your time with lesser corded-only microscopes.
