I really like this outdoor solar table lamp. All the sections screw together with the same thread size, which makes it easy to collapse down to take camping. I like the fact that it has a USB-C charging port in addition to the solar panel. Whilst solar charging is a great option if you're leaving the lamp outside a lot of the time, being able to plug it into a socket or power bank means you can charge it much faster. The lamp feels really solid and sits firmly on my table without wobbling, and it looks very smart. The lamp is operated with a touch-sensitive button on the side of the shade, but annoyingly this is very difficult to see in the dark! The light is a nice warm white, which I really like. You can dim the light by holding the touch button.

PROS-a very cute lamp-a nice warm light, ideal for cozy evenings outdoors-easy to put together-base is heavy enough for the lamp to stand up in moderate winds (I plan to leave it outdoors almost all of the time, on our outdoor table)-can dim and brighten the light a little bit either way (see NOTES below)-decent valueCONS-the power “button” (a touch sensitive impression on the lamp top) is the only place to turn it on/off and adjust brightness. It’s not very easy to see, and impossible to see in the dark. Better an illuminated button (or at least one that can be more easily felt in the dark or, even better, make the entire top of the lamp touch-sensitive)-not the biggest solar panel, the manual states that it takes 10-12 hours of sunlight to charge. Luckily, it can also be charged with the included USB cable. So I anticipate leaving this outdoors and it’ll charge a little bit each day, stretching out the time between USB topupsNOTES-kudos to the company for the clever way the lamp and base are screwed together for shipping (saves on packaging material)-if you want to dim or brighten the lamp, long-press the power “button” (there is no manual included, and the online manual takes a bit of work to find).MY STAR RATINGS:1* substandard, mostly cons2** barely acceptable, cons outweigh the pros3*** meets the basic requirements, cons balance the pros4**** good product, pros outweigh the cons5***** exceptional, all (or almost all) pros

This Calex solar light has the advantage of being rechargeable via solar or USB C (lead included). The design is fairly minimal but there's a heavy base and two central screw together rods (you could use just one if preferred). The lamp is operated via a touch switch which is a little hard to find in the dark. A single touch operates on/off and a long press changes the brightness - at 100% power the output is pretty good. This is a great addition for an outdoor table on warm evenings.

This is a great idea for lighting up patios during summer evenings/nights.It is solar powered but can also be recharged via supplied USB cable which makes this lamp wireless and easy to place in your garden or outdoor space. You can of course use it indoors too without relying on power sockets. The lamp can be used with just it's base to create a low level light or you can screw one or both rods to make it a higher lamp/light.It is easy to control, it has a button on the outer rim of light that is pressed to turn on or off and if you hold the power button whilst it is on, it will adjust the brightness level. It is a nice lamp for the price, it can be used anywhere thanks to its wirelessness and it is also waterproof so is perfectly fine to be used outside.

I ordered this for a nice night light in my gazebo… sat on my coffee table, it receives sun through the day so I don’t have to get wires and electricity over to it!The lamp is well made with a good heavy base. This ensures it doesn’t blow over on a windy day and is good and solid. The light is a nice warming glow about it and is perfect from the summer evenings. Not much else I can say, this is a very nice light.
