Yes, it powers the camera as if a normal battery was in there.Since it's USB-C on the other hand you could use a suitable powerbank, or a mains charger. That means you really can be pretty portable if you need to be and you can start shooting as soon as you like.Having to charge a regular battery always seems to happen to me just before I want to record a video, or go out shooting. But with this I can plugin into mains power or use one of my powerbanks and I'm ready to go as soon as I'm ready to go.I love it. It's great. Very convenient. It's pretty lightweight as well.

Das Akku-Kabel wird von der Kamera als Akku erkannt und der Betrieb ist ohne Einschränkung möglich. Das Kabel ist lang genug, um die Kamera auf einem Stativ mit einer Powerbank am Boden zu betreiben.Für lange Timelapse oder Astroaufnahme einfach super. Dank USB-C Anschluss klappt der Betrieb auch an so ziemlich jeder Powerbank oder Powerstation.
