I thought this was the perfect water bottle, until I discovered a dark color on the mouth piece. I grabbed a q-tip to clean inside and it was black! No other way to clean inside the mouth piece other than with a q-tip and even that is not 100% effective. Part is very hard to clean properly. I undid the pieces and soaked in boiling water but I am very disappointed at how difficult it is to clean this bottle. It should not be sold. Specially not at this price! I have had it for less than a year!

Ondertussen hebben wij deze beker al ruim 2 jaar in gebruik en gaat nog steeds mee.Het is een heel stevige beker die tegen meerdere stootjes kan. Let wel, als die valt op iets hards, dan is de kans groot dat er een deuk in komt. Maar de dop en beker zijn echt stevig en degelijk. Door de deukjes ziet de fles er wel minder mooi uit natuurlijk.Een puntje van aandacht is dat je de dop niet super strak hoeft dicht te draaien om lekken te voorkomen. Kan natuurlijk wel, maar dan ben je andersom ook behoorlijk wat kracht aan het zetten om m open te draaien, iets wat onze kinderen dan niet lukt.Het gladde oppervlak van de beker, zeer handig bij schoonmaken, kan ook voor meer moeite zorgen bij het openen als deze onder de vette vinger vlekken zit of als je eigen handig weinig grip hebben.De fles is echt lekvrij als de tuit dicht zit, ongeacht hoe de fles dan staat of ligt. Wel is het zo dat de siliconen tuit minder lang meegaat, door het vele op en dicht klappen is deze aan slijtage onderhevig. Deze is dan in 2 jaar tijd 3 keer vervangen. Houd hier rekening mee, want dan is de kans op lekkage natuurlijk wel aanwezig.Een vervangende set kan je ook van Camelbak kopen. Dan heb je een set van 4 tuitjes en 2 rietjes (die gaan alleen nooit stuk lijkt het) voor rond de 17 euro. Ondanks dit minpuntje van de tuit, heeft deze beker mijn voorkeur over kunststof flessen die meer kans hebben op breken bij een val.

Easy leak proof water bottle for my young son.

Had to reorder as the first time I was sent the wrong item but overall still happy with this Camelback Eddy+.

Great design, bottle is made of metal and not plastic which is great but we were disappointed when we found out that it leaks when it is closed. We bought two different colors/designs of this camelback bottle for two of our kids and they love them but both of them leak if they are not in straight up position. One leaks where the cap (purple one) is is tightened to the metal bottle (although it has a rubber on the inside which should prevent that, and the other one leak somewhere around the drinking straw.If they are put in the bag in the up-right position then there are no problems, but if they are in your bag and the bag tips over and stays like that - then all things inside will get wet.

So good having tired yet so idk if it keeps the water cold

As mentioned the bottle is stainless steel 18/10 but actually the bottle rusted after 10 days of use. Not recommended
