Zum Entfernen zieht man am Bügel der Ventilkappe.Ich habe die Ventilkappe an mehreren verschiedenen Gaskartuschen ausprobiert. Bei einigen lässt sie sich gut montieren und auch wieder entfernen, bei anderen ganz und gar nicht.Ich musste die Ventilkappe in einen Schraubstock einspannen und gehörig an der Kartusche hebeln, damit ich die Kappe wieder entfernen konnte. Unterwegs und ohne Werkzeug wäre ich aufgeschmissen gewesen und hätte die Kartusche nicht nutzen können.Auch wenn die Ventile in die Gaskartuschen eingecrimpt sind und Crimpverbindungen sehr stabil sind, habe ich ein ganz ungutes Gefühl dabei, mit großen Hebelkräften auf ein Gasventil in einer Gaskartusche einzuwirken.Ich würde diese Ventilkappen nicht noch einmal kaufen.

This product (Campingmoon BKM-107) is a press-on protector (or cap) for the connection on the isobutane mixture canisters (also called cylinders, tanks, flat tanks, and cartridges). While it covers the canister’s Lindal Valve, it DOES NOT thread onto the Lindal Valve itself. The threads of the Lindal Valve are formed of steel similar to that used to make the top of the canister, but the threaded connection is small, and the thread’s conformation is not robust enough to withstand a great deal of stress. The Campingmoon BKM-107 press-on protector is held in place by a compressed O-ring that presses outward onto the much larger roll formed connection between top of the canister and the Lindal Valve assembly. The O-ring holds the cap in place very tightly and firmly and must be carefully installed and removed from the canister.This product is beautifully machined from aluminum alloy and has a smooth black finish. The company name, logo, and the product designation are laser etched onto the top of the cap. The cap is equipped with a rubber O-ring on the outside of the portion of the cap that is inserted into the well that surrounds the Lindal Valve. The O-ring holds the cap in place and seals the Lindal Valve against dust, dirt, damage, and leaks. An extra O-ring is provided with the product. The cap also has a machined half-loop fitted to the top of the cap so that the canister may be hung up by a hook or a small carabiner. The canister may be suspended simply to keep it off of the ground or it may be used to suspend the canister upside down in certain special circumstances. Finally, there is a strong magnet inserted into the end of the portion of the cap that is inserted the well that surrounds the Lindal Valve. The magnet may be used to attach the cap to the canister (or other ferrous metal objects) when the canister is uncapped and in use. The magnet is also strong enough that it may be used to attach to the bottom of the canister and suspend the canister upside down when it is desired to feed liquid fuel to certain liquid fuel-capable stoves in very cold operating conditions.The machining and finishing of this product are absolutely impeccable. The square cut knurling is precisely executed, and it provides excellent purchase on the cap for removing the cap from the canister. The half-loop fitted to the top of the cap fits incredibly well and is fastened to the cap with screws on each side. The addition of the rubber O-ring to seal the cap to the canister’s Lindal Valve connection is a very safety conscious step and is much appreciated. I have become enamored of all of Campingmoon's products. They are always very well executed and never disappoint. I just wish that they were more easily available in all of their variations.

Fits on a 250g butane fuel can (Coleman showed in photo). I know it's over the 230g load bearing capacity, but I don't plan on hanging my butane fuel can from anything when I'm using this cap on it. In all honesty I've only hung my msr fuel can by this less than a handful of times. I generally only use it for the cap feature since I ALWAYS lose fuel caps. The quality of the cap is really nice, and the rubber gasket keeps the cap on snug. Just a good pull on it gets it off.Verdict: Winner. Would recommend. Worth its value, and the quality is great.

Ich habe diesen Artikel zum Testen kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen und bewerte den Artikel nach meiner subjektiven Wahrnehmung.Das beste Feature aus meiner Sicht ist der Magnet und dazu passend der Bügel, um die Gaskartusche über Kopf aufzuhängen. Damit kann man diese gut entleeren.Ich transportiere meine kleine Gaskartusche im Topf zusammen mit dem Gaskocher. Da sind mir die Möglichkeiten des Verschließens, um evtl. austretendes Gas zu vermeiden oder die Kartusche an den Rucksack hängen nicht so wichtig. Das Anhängen funktioniert mit dem Magnet und dem Dichtungsgummi am Rand zwar gut, doch ich glaube, mich würde das Gebaumel am Rucksack sehr schnell stören. Das muss aber jeder für sich selbst wissen, ob man das hilfreich findet.Die Halterung ist sehr schön und stabil verarbeitet, doch für den Angebotspreis von 12 Euro wäre mir der Nutzen zu gering. Die Idee einen Magnet mit einer Aufhängung zu haben finde ich sehr gut.
