Had some doubts before because it is not a known brand but it works totally fine. Tried at least 5 brands brands of screw canister and it works with all of them. Screwing the device in the canisters goes almost without gas loss. It is easy to operate the valve and to control the gas flow.

I got the tip about this from a hiking YouTuber. It works great! I usually do not need big, bulky canisters on my hikes, but the small ones are relatively expensive. Now, I just buy big value packages of gas and refill my little one for each hike. It works great, saves money, and there is something very satisfying about the whole process.

And with this tool, you never need to buy another.The directions are simple. Cool the can you're filling. This causes the fuel to compress leaving extra space in the canister to fill. Warm up the can you're filling from. It can even be one of the larger, less expensive by volume cans. This causes the fuel to expand and look for a way to escape. When you link the two, the gas easily flows from the warm can to the cool one.Pro tip, have a scale handy to weigh the canister you're filling. You're aiming for 200 grams or about 7 ounces. You may have to repeat the whole process a couple times to get the can completely full. Remember: never pack a halfie!

L'adattatore funziona efficacemente solo se si usa il metodo già riportato da altri: si deve creare un gradiente (ossia una differenza) di temperatura tra le due cartucce perché il travaso di gas abbia luogo, quindi quella vuota deve essere molto più fredda di quella che cede gas.Perciò bisogna lasciare la cartuccia da riempire almeno mezz'oretta in freezer, mentre quella piena deve essere "tiepida" ossia ad una temperatura per cui il gas abbia "voglia" di uscire una volta in uso. La cartuccia vuota, raffreddata in freezer, invece, permetterà a tale gas "caldo" di essere completamente assorbito dalla stessa.Per scaldare la cartuccia basta lasciarla per un cinque minuti al Sole, fino a che non la si sente tiepida al tatto (evitare fonti di calore eccessive).Nel caso si dovesse essere in uscita invernale, basterà lasciare la cartuccia vuota in esterno al freddo o dentro la neve o un corso d'acqua di montagna, mentre si tiene quella da usare vicino al calore corporeo (o presso altra fonte di calore).Senza tale metodo non so se sia possibile un effettivo anche minimo trasferimento, in quanto non si sente il classico suono del gas che travasa (una specie di sibilo, che dipende appunto dalla differenza di temperatura e da quanto gas sta passando).

Da ich auf Tagestouren mit einer kleinen Kartouche auskomme, habe mir dieses Gadget gekauft, um in die kleine Primus-Kartouche aus der großen ration1.de nachfüllen zu können. Die Primus-Kartouche passt perfekt in meinen Kochbehälter und ist besser zu verschließen als die Billiggaskartouchen. Das Umfülltool macht einen tollen Job und füllt nach ein paar Minuten die kleine Kartouche aus der größeren wieder auf. Verarbeitung ist sehr gut und wird sicher sehr lange die Funktion erfüllen.
