The open box experience is a nice presentation.It took about 3 minutes to unbox it, put it together, fill the tank with butane, and fire it up. The build quality looks and feels excellent. I love having the small, matching, refillable canister, instead of using commercial butane tanks with brand name designs painted all over them - those don't look very nice in your patio or living room. I light it from the top, as I don't like fingerprints on the globe.I had no problems filling the canister with gas, or with air in the tank, or with the flame jumping high or low. The regulator knob is nice and tight, and it's very easy to set the flame to the exact height you want. I'm on my first full canister, and so far the runtime is at 2.5 hours and still going, with the flame height at 50% between the top of the brass nozzle and the top of the globe.It burns steady and smooth, and it's quite amazing how low you can set the flame before it goes out. At full height (just below the top of the globe), I'd say it's about 3x as bright as a tea light, and maybe 2x brighter than the 6" (extended) UCO candle lanterns.BTW, I'm using Colibri Premium Butane for it's 100% purity. I prefer it over other brands like Ronson, etc. The lantern burns clean and odor-free.Accessories I'd like to see:• Frosted globe option to diffuse the light evenly (the flame is very bright to look at directly).• Clip-on mirror, to reflect and focus light directionally.• Chain or bail for carrying / hanging (a screw-in base and 3-chain + hook design).• A small stainless steel clip-on pot the size of the 15g canister or smaller, for simmering fragrances - ladies will love that.• Knurl the sides of the gas canister for a firmer grip when moving.I love this, and I'm glad they didn't price it out of the park. I'm considering gifting one.Highly recommended.COOL TIP: look up the "UCO Side Reflector" here on Amazon. It's designed for UCO candle lanterns, but also works with these lanterns. For $4 you can focus more light in one direction.Cheers!

Volltreffer.Lange hab ich mir eine Art Windlicht für den Camper gewünscht. Hier hab ich es endlich gefunden.Funktioniert perfekt. Macht tolles Licht, ca. 3-4 Kerzen hell. Ist absolut leise, im Gegensatz zu meiner Gaslaterne und sieht so toll aus.Hoffe alles hält lang. Aber Preis-Leistung. Wunderbar. 🏕️ 🔥 🕯️
