I got the shirt for my foster Chihuahua that has anxiety issues and scratches her armpit excessively. She needs to wear a sleeved shirt to prevent herself from scratching herself raw.Her measurements: 8.5" neck, 13" chest, 11" from based of neck to base of tail, 5.5lbs. The XXS fits her like a glove.The material is not too heavy and is stretchy, and she seems very comfy in the shirt. The sleeves are just the right length for her.

Pennywise is a 5lb Chihuahua who loves sunbathing, and we just moved to Nevada where it will be getting up to 120°F and sunny. This shirt so far seems to be comfortable to move and lay in, and doesn't make her warmer any faster. For a little extra cooling I wet it a bit and put it on her, and sit helped her stay cooler for longer. I got her an XXS and it's a perfect fit. Definitely getting bang for your buck with this one. We plan on taking her camping once it's cooled off a bit, and this shirt will definitely help protect her skin.

We have an energetic 65lb male English Springer Spaniel who developed wave rash and an infection a year ago while on vacation at the beach--costing $275 dollars. We tried several shirts in preparation for our upcoming trip. The XL fit him like perfectly---covering his armpits and chest well. I had ordered a size up for each of my springers----however this shirt actually fits this breed true to size. I am ordering a large for my 40 lb female.
