Een mooie omschrijving van het toestel doch het is alles behalve gebruiksvriendelijk. Zelfs wanneer men met volle kracht op de hendel drukt beweegt de aardappel een klein beetje en dat is het. Betreur de aankoop.

I could see from the photo on Amazon that this Potato Chipper was good quality, and when delivered I was proven right! Unlike many Potato Chippers, this one uses very heavy duty aluminium and stainless steel and is well built, so it doesn't buckle under force. And to use this chipper or any other chipper quite a lot of force is required to push the potato through the cutters. So, this is NOT a device for the weak or elderly to use!The device has good sucker feet but all of my worktops are textured so they do not stick. However, this is not the fault of the device! If the device had a slightly longer handle it would have a bit more leverage and would not require as much force to use, but that's only a slight negative.I am completely happy with my Potato Cutter and I totally recommend it!

Having sustained cuts to my finger tips from the new but weak chipper, I was desperate to find one that was more substantial in construction. I saw this one and despite the high price, it seemed the right one to get. It was easy to assemble and prepare for use. However, the reason for the dropping of a star is because of the feet. They simply do not adhere to the glass surface protector it is sat on. I have to hold down the two rear feet, otherwise the chipper tips forward. The chipper takes huge potatoes, meaning you get proper long, thick chips. One thing However, anyone not able to stand whilst chipping potatoes will struggle with this. It does take some elbow grease to cut the potatoes.
