Beautiful perfectly working grinder for sharpening pencils. Should have got it long before. Forget all other pencil sharpeners. Blessed device. Highly recommended.

This is a wonderful product, just oozes class and heritage. Almost everything you touch/handle is metal and a heavy gauge metal at that. This includes the pull-out shavings drawer- never seen that in metal before!Be prepared for its chunky weight when you do the unboxing; it’s h-e-a-v-y, no two opinions on that. What’s not so obvious from photos is how well the sharpener is made, not a unfinished edge or corner anywhere.In short, if you have the money- and it’s eye-wateringly expensive- go for it!My one caveat, and the reason why I’ve deducted a ⭐️, there’s no sharpening adjustment whatsoever. I happen to be fond of long points when I sharpen pencils, so let’s be clear: this won’t give you that. It’s the standard short point and that’s it; if you can live with this limitation, then look (or read) no further.
