Well worth the money and performs very well. I would recommend this tool to any auto technician or individual with a car that has a distributor. This timing light is very user friendly and makes the task of adjusting ignition timing seamless.

Fairly intuitive controls with built in tachometer. Easy to set the advance, really useful on my car which doesn't have fine enough timing marks. You can switch off the strobe to preserve bulb life.The only downside I found was the reset for the advance was too near my thumb, so I'd keep putting it back to zero. Was fine once I remembered not to be clumsy! Not sure if the lamp is bright enough if you are outdoors, was fine in my garage.I didn't get the case seen in some of the user photos above, so if you are expecting one (it isn't featured in the seller info) then you might be disappointed.It picked the spark on my 70s classic up much better than my old, cheap, Gunson unit which I'd used for years. Highly recommended.
