Great robust holder.

I used this for my motorbike. On the bike it looks so much tidier that the UK plane plate, with the border. I also stuck a brand name sticker on the blank space at the bottom to finish the look. You can’t fit a standard size plate in this, I had one custom made but the lettering remains almost the legal size, certainly close enough not to be pulled for it. I’d say it’s the perfect size to look sharp and not attract the wrong type of attention.When sizing your plate I reckon you can add another 2mm to the height if you follow the sizes in the details area. It will just close up some of the gap but still fit in, although sticking to the spec probably makes it easier to get the plate in and out the extra 2mm shouldn’t effect it too much but finish it off a bit more.Material is very heavy duty.I didn’t drill holes in my plate, it snaps in and is hugely secure. I used the plastic bolt and not to attach it to my plate holder before then popping the plate it.Wish they made one slightly smaller, maybe an inch or two off either axis to fit something closer but not quite as small as a 7x5inch plate.
