Great watch that looks even better in real life. I was preparing for the worse regarding the screen readability. However I can easily read all the data in any light conditions. Of course, comparing to classical displays it's a little less readable, but still it's more than OK. However the reason for 4 stars is that this unit is far less accurate comparing to my older watch Casio A164W. Within a few days it has already been 5 seconds faster than official time and A164W accordingly.

I am not disappointed, it was abit more than what I initially intended to spend. But I ended up buying the woman Casio watch and it was too small so sent back. It’s comfy, not too heavy and stylish! Feels secure and hard wearing. It looks abit more grown up than my old plastic Casio black one! I can’t say there is anything I don’t like about. Hope it’s a watch I keep for a long time ;)

I've always loved the crisp elegance of an LCD digital display and thought it a shame that it has become synonymous with plastic cheapness. This watch, with its all steel and mineral glass construction, restores the classic LCD look to its rightful place and takes me back to the days when digital watches felt exciting and futuristic. The overall look feels more late 70's than 80's to me.Text on the face is minimal and uncluttered and the brushed finish on the case is superb (even the back looks great). The mother of pearl face appears essentially white in most lighting conditions with subtle pink and green hues showing through. It's only in direct strong light you get the sort of texture visible in Casio's images. I wasn't sure about it at first but it's really grown on me.Functionality is the basic time, date, chrono and alarm. One slightly annoying feature is that you can't stop the buttons from emitting a beep when you press them. Backlight works nicely - not quite as good as the Timex Indiglo system, but infinitely better than the useless sidelight they still put in the F-91W !The strap that comes with it feels a little cheap - I've swapped mine for a simple grey fabric strap which I think really suits it. Can't see why it's marketed as a women's watch - seems to look fine on my hairy arm :-)I've had mine about 6 months now and there still isn't a mark on it, so I'm confident this will still look great in years to come.
