I love these bowls! Easy to keep clean-but don’t drop them; I learned early on to keep them at the base of the sink as I washed them so less chance of breakage. The bowls are very thick glass with stout bases that drop into the stage but will shatter if dropped in a sink or on the floor. The cats looked at them like they were from outer space at first, but they use them without hesitation now. The thick glass core is held in the stage by ‘grips’ that adjust to the core. They don’t move at all once placed in the hole, and the grips have never failed in any of the stages we’ve had.I like not watching them have to croon their necks down to eat-I have a Ragdoll who consistently vomits after eating and he does seem to do it less now than before. Perhaps I’m wrong-it could be attributed to other conditions, but he doesn’t seem to do it as much. I just thought that having a better angle for swallowing as he ate might help. Having once owned a cat who suffered from chin acne, glass has become our feeding vessel of choice and I couldn’t be happier with these. Great for wet or dry food and the stage has a rubber base that keeps them from sliding about. Super easy to keep clean and they are very nice looking in the kitchen. My mom started using them for her big guy and she loves hers as well. The replacement bowls are pricey so I simply buy a new set if I break one. Keeps us in extras and I always have a clean replacement stage and extra bowl at hand. The only drawback IS breakage but simply being aware is a pretty easy fix...they look so much better in the kitchen, too. Most people don’t even realize what they are unless there’s food in them. They come in white or black and I can’t imagine ever wanting to use another type of feeding dish for my cats. We hope that Amazon continues to carry them for a long time to come. Nice gifts for cat lovers, too. The dish is lower in the front and higher in the back and believe it or not, both of my cats use them as the design dictates. Can’t say enough about these; we are very pleased to have found them at Amazon. Wonderful five-star design by Catit! I was looking for elevated bowls but wasn't willing to spend too much. I have 2 cats and I wanted them both to have their own food and water bowls. For the food, the bowls contain quite a lot of food and my cats haven't fussed over them. For the water, it contains a bit less than what you'd want if you only used those as water bowls - because of the inclination. However, my cats have a fountain, I just like to give them water bowls as well, because one of them seem to like it, and if there's ever an outage when I'm not there, the fountain would stop working, so I'd want the cats to still have access to water.They are quite sturdy. I have one cat that likes to dig out one croquette at a time out of the bowl and the last bowls we had would end up in the middle of the dining room. These haven't moved and she can still enjoy fishing out her croquettes!And they also look nice. I have the white ones which match with my white CatIt fountain, they look clean and sleek.Overall I'm really happy with this purchase and it didn't cost me an arm! I am really found of the CatIt products and they haven't disappointed for these little bowls either.

I want4ed to switch from plastic to glass bowls for my babies health. and I'm so happy with this purchase. size of the bowls is perfect for my 6 kg and 4 kg cats. it's easy to remove from stand and easy to wash after every use.I think my babies love it too.highly recommend

I really liked 'cause is made of glass!If I can say one thing to improve is the plastic base, maybe a different material.
