A lot of water doesn't flow through the filter, it builds up on top, then goes through the overflow. There's also a bit of foaming. I am not sure it's actually working, or safe.

It seems not possible to get this properly addressed, the company site just makes it look like an issue with maintaianance and proper cleaning/air bubbles.Having used the previous filters, I can tell that's not it.I was glad the new filters had less plastic, however I expect them to work at least at the same level, not worse!Even right after cleaning all parts, the water starts foaming in less than a day, nothing changed on my end, the new filter is the issue.About the foaming, I also wonder if the placement of liquid substance inside the filter is safe for the cats.In the old filter it was contained inside of a smaller bag, now is not and I'm direct contact with the filter mesh.On top of that, it clogged twice and flooded my leaving room, again, just a day after cleaning it!I tried to report this via one of the resellers shops, Pet's Place, but no luck.If you're wondering which fountain to buy, I can tell I'll have to change mine asap, as there is no acknowledging the issue seriously.

Have used "generic" filters for years but they just don't seem to last more than a couple of weeks before they need to be replaced. Decided to spend the extra money and go back to the real deal. I think they work better and are better for the fur babies.
