I do not write reviews often if ever.I have 2 15 year old ginger brothers who are having some medical problems. There is diarrhea and a lot of pee. This litter handles it perfectly. It clumps immediately but does not stick to the bottom. It smells very lightly of vanille but only if you are right on top the litterbox. You only take out the clumps and fill it again. There is no litter outside the box, no dust and the litter is light to carry so youre back will be happy as well. The pellets are like small thin pellets, it is soft for the feet because there are no sharp edges.Just try it and you will see.

If you are someone who keeps up with the cleaning of your litter box daily (ie. scooping parts of it out everyday in order to maintain a smell-free household) this is going to be incredibly expensive. As a previous reviewer said, at best this will last 2-3 weeks. It also heavily depends on the size of your litter box, if you have a large stainless steel one; one box of this litter is not even going to be enough (maybe just) to fill the right amount and allow your cat to properly dig and cover its poop/pee.

It does not get better, can't live without it. Last 1 month with 2 ragdol cats and you only need to replace it when it runs out. I would appreciate lower price or more promotional offers, however I did not find equivalent that is close to this, therefore this is repeated purchase. Also some stock shortages sometimes, so always buy it in bulk.

I mainly bought this cat litter because of its clumping ability and no-dust claims. Clay litter was an automatic no for us because of the dust it comes with so we decided to go with this litter to try out.TL;DR: Pros: clumps great, no dust, kittens won’t eat it, amazing odor control, faint sweet smell, good on kitty pawsCons: expensive for the amount and how quickly we go through it for two catsWe absolutely love this litter for several reasons and have been using it for a few months now! It clumps very effectively, is comfortable on our cats paws, absorbs well, no dust whatsoever, and covers odors. The vanilla scent is faint so it hasn’t caused any respiratory issues for our cats and it deters them from eating it thankfully as they’re still kittens so they want to eat everything they can get their paws on. It’s also pleasant for us as it’s mostly just a slightly sweet scent rather than a strong vanilla smell. It really does help with urine odor in particular. We tried a couple other litters (corn, recycled paper) and they were complete failures for us due to a lack of odor control, no clumping, insane amounts of dust, and/or the kittens trying to eat it. This is by far the best one we’ve found and it checks all the boxes. It is expensive for how quickly we go through it (about a bag a week for two cats with me cleaning their litter box everyday or every other day but they also pee pretty frequently as they drink a lot and are on a diet that is very high in moisture so that may also play a part) but it really worth it for me because having your nose sting from the smell of cat pee while you scoop is never great and the environmentally friendly factor is a big win for us! We love it and so do our kitties! Will continue to order!

Ordered this on a whim when trying to find an alternative to clay litter - my cat recently had a urinary blockage and I was concerned that him licking his paws after using his box may have contributed as he tends to get the clay stuff everywhere and it gets stuck in his fur as he has very long hair. I set up a second box with this in it, leaving his old box with the clay litter in it. He seems to prefer the pea husk litter to the clay litter, although I cannot confirm whether this is due to the location of the new box or that he really just loves this litter. Regardless, he almost exclusively uses this stuff now for both pooping and peeing.A WARNING FOR DOG OWNERS: I left the remainder of the litter next to my cat’s litter box in just the bag, and my dogs did eat some of it. They thankfully puked it up and there hasn’t been any further issues, but if you have a dog that inhales food make sure to keep the extra litter in a sealed container or in a closed cupboard! We have top entry litter boxes for my cat, so I’m not worried about them eating the litter that’s in the box, but please be cautious if you have other pets in the house that would make a snack of the pea husks!!On to the litter itself:It clumps really nicely, and I find cleaning it is a breeze. If you try to shake out the scoop it can definitely be a pain, but what I do is anytime I find a clump and I’ve picked up a bunch of extra litter, I just toss everything back in the box and re scoop just the clump out as it’ll stay on top and won't break apart. Makes it so much faster than trying to sift it all out and you don’t have to worry about it breaking into tiny pieces like some of the clay stuff. My cat also pees in the corners of his box which as others have said can create a weird paste that sticks. If you end up with it sticking to the wall, just scrape the paste off with the edge of your scoop and stir the box a bit so that the unused litter goes over the spot where it was stuck on the wall. It’ll clean off the side super easy that way and clump so you can scoop it out easier. SO much easier to clean than when clay gets stuck to the bottom of the litter box!!From what I can tell, this stuff mitigates smell pretty decently unless there’s a fresh poop in it (I’ve only noticed that smell twice though in the last 3 weeks, and it was within minutes of him going, and disappeared after scooping immediately or covering and leaving it to dry for a bit). I’ve had the same batch in his box the last 2-3 weeks (scooping at least once daily and topping it up every 3-4 days) and it smells way better than the clay arm & hammer stuff we have in the other box despite him using that box at most 1/10th of the time in comparison. The lavender scent is subtle but does a good job masking the scent all things considered (my cat also smells a bit like lavender after he’s gone too which I don’t mind!).The box does say it’s enough for a 60 day supply, but I don’t think that’s true. I needed to use one whole bag and then some just to get enough base coverage, and then the remainder of the second bag was just enough to top up over the last 2 weeks. Unless you were to never do a full empty of the litter box and completely replace the litter (and even then I’m doubtful you could get a full 2 months as you would need a third bag to continue topping up), there’s max a 30 day supply for my one cat with one box of this litter. My only other gripe is it does track a decent amount; however, it does stay in the general vicinity of the litter box so I at least know it’s coming off of his paws quite quickly after he leaves the box and isn’t sticking to him. Furthermore, there’s no dust so the small bit of tracking is something I can live with given all the other pros as it’s much easier to sweep up the pea husks than fine clay or sand litter, and it doesn’t fly around the room leaving a coating everywhere. Overall, very satisfied cat and owner!

Game changer--amazing!! I have had cats for 40 years. I've tried every type of litter out there. This stuff is incredible. First of all, there's no smell to the litter box. I hate those scented litters that make my cat smell like cheap perfume. This does not have a smell to it, but it does fight the smell of the litter box. I'm in a tiny house so that my cat goes the litter box. It's very evident. Not with this litter. The other crate advantage is it does not trash through the house. No dust no litter everywhere. It took me a minute to learn how to scoop it. You have to kind of dig for whatever is in there and then just pick that up. I hope this company stays in business for the rest of my life because this is incredible
