They are strong and work beautiful

Was tried of using 2 forks to pull the pork so looked for something to step up the game. This product is extremely strong claws and the handles make it so easy to pull pork. For the price, its a no brainer and another great tool for the BBQ/Smoker chef in the house!

After quite a bit of research I settled on these claws. Nearly every single "claw" has some negative reviews. Ultimately, I'm not convinced there is a perfect set...This set has no hollow sections for food to collect - and make difficult for cleaning. So that was a plus! Using claws does take some development of technique and is dependent on food and how it's cooked. Sometimes I will use one claw and pick a the meat with the other...sometimes I will intertwine the tongs and pull through to more finely shred. These claws DO NOT CUT the meat. They separate the meat fibers. Some negative reviews I'm convinced that the meat was not cooked enough which would make use difficult. If you need a set that CUTs, I saw some others on Amazon that might be worth a try.I've done chicken and pork butts with the tools and they worked wonderfully. My hands are bigger and I do get some rubbing on the metal portion. But, I get that with most all tools and have my whole life. By changing my grip slightly, I'm able to work without an issue.For this item and the price point, I cannot complain and work as I expected them to work.
