Not sure they work well for hamburgers, and I don’t use them for sausages because I don’t want to break the casing, but for ribs, steaks, chicken breasts, and even wings I have found these to be a very efficient way to flip or move items while they are grilling.When you open the box they have a little plastic tube over the shark point. Received these a week ago. Definitely heavy duty. I'm hoping they'll be more durable in the Florida sunshine compared to wood handle pigtails. I'll update this post if they fall apart. Picked up the Left handed version for half the price of the Right handed pigtails. Always good to learn a new skill 😎
