Ich habe diese und ein preiswertes Messer bestellt.Dieses ist o.k., auch wenn ich erst nicht wusste, wie ich es " in Betrieb" nehmen soll.Man muss die Schrauben lösen und das Messer einstellen. Wird es nicht mehr gebraucht, kann man es wieder "sichern". Das günstigste Messer hat diese Sicherung nicht, was aber kein Problem ist.Meine Empfehlung: Für gelegentliches Teppichverlegen ist das günstigste, hier angebotene Messer völlig ausreichend. Wer viel schneidet, für den ist dieses Messer besser geeignet weil es aus Metall und nicht aus überwiegend Plastik ist.

Got this the other day thinking it would help me to cut excess carpet off my bedroom carpet,ended up looking at the mechanism for this and decided not to use it.Am not a professional carpet fitter but I do no when something is not up to the job,never cut anything with it and I just used a new Stanley knife and blade.It was about as useful as a chocolate teapot or an ashtray on a motorbike.
