Surprising feature versatility from this lower-priced plastic-build but cute enough CD player. Sound quality from the onboard stereo speakers offer good volume but the EQ settings are just gimmicky; however I might tweak them, the unit is incapable of rendering anything resembling HiFi quality audio, although mids and highs are more discernible than bass tones. Still, disco tracks deliver a decent thump at higher volume. Good to excellent audio delivery is achieved when the player is connected to more capable external amplifiers and speakers via Bluetooth or the auxiliary port, and that's where the value and soundstage offered by this little unit truly shines. As well as the colour display and equally small but functional remote control, I was pleased that this player can handle 100-minute CDRs, even though it occasionally, for unknown reasons, requires multiple attempts. A reminder, perhaps, that the unit is relatively cheap with a money-to-performance inconsistency? The display shows the track number, but MP3 discs will display song title and artist name if this data is embedded in the media being played. The Bluetooth receiver and transmitter functions work well with my Wiim Ultra when similarly priced competitors failed to connect. They have to be activated via the remote on each occasion, but this is painless. Once established, the connection is stable with no audio drop-out. The inbuilt rechargeable battery allows for maximum portability of the unit around my home, or even out and about on foot or in my car. Clear FM radio reception is achieved using the attached aerial, and I can scan for channels via the remote or the onboard controls. CDs are easily placed but are a little fiddly to retrieve. I appreciate being able to fast-forward/scan through tracks via the remote to find my favourite sections of music, which is a great feature that is often missing on more expensive devices. Type-C charging and USB stick connectivity are offered at the back. The overall design of the unit is practical black plastic rather than anything sleek, but it is unobtrusive enough to complement rather than upset the overall look of my HiFi set-up. Overall, this CD player is a very worthwhile purchase for those of us with fussy ears and beloved CD collections, or/and with music on our Bluetooth devices. The £37 Amazon Warehouse asking price was fair for the feature set, but I'm not sure I would want to pay more for the given build. My first order made odd laser skipping noises during CD playback and was returned. The replacement works without a problem. Overall, a very worthwhile feature-pleasing purchase at a good price.

I really love this little music box. Sound is really good too for a small device. Love the display, easy to select functions. Battery runs for a long time before it needs a recharge. I would recommend this for pleasant small room background music. I haven't checked how it sounds with headset. It works for what I need it for. Great item.

Il primo che avevo ordinato sono stato costretto a restituirlo perché, a volume sostenuto, la slitta del CD emetteva vibrazioni e rumori indesiderati. Questo invece è eccezionale. Funziona bene, anche in bluetooth (sia in trasmissione che in ricezione). Il volume in cuffia è scarso... ma credo che sia voluto, per evitare di danneggiare l'udito di utenti meno scrupolosi.
