Deze stevige metalen T-Adapter is het accessoire bij uitstek als je een spiegelreflex- of DSLR-camera wilt bevestigen aan de achterste celdraden van een Schmidt-Cassegrain-telescoop voor prime focus fotografie. Om te beginnen heb je de juiste T-Ring voor je camerabehuizing nodig (#93402 voor Nikon & #93419 voor Canon EOS). Haal de lens uit je camera en bevestig de T-ring op zijn plaats. Omdat de T-ring specifiek is voor cameramerken, klikt hij precies op als een lens. Verwijder vervolgens de diagonale en visuele achterkant van de achterste cel van uw telescoop. Schroef de Celestron T-Adapter op de achterste celschroefdraad totdat deze vastzit. Rijg nu de T-ring en camera op de T-Adapter. Dat is alles wat er is. De camera gebruikt je telescoop nu als gigantische telelens. De vergroting hangt af van de brandpuntsafstand van de telescoop.

Well made. Fits perfectly on my C5 and, together with Celestron 93402 T-Ring Adapter for Nikon, allows me to use my D5500 DSRL.

I used it with a Meade LX90 to attach my Canon 60D, (aditional converter needed), works best when directly attached to the telescope body without any 90-deg. prisms. The adapter can be fully dissasembled and reasembeled so if you want you can remove the barlow lens in order to reduce the magnification.

Well made and one of the few adapters that Celestron markets at a reasonable price point. Yes there are less expensive options on the market, but for a few dollars more, I am confident that the adapter was made to Celestron's specs and will work with my scope.

Cumple muy bien su función y mantiene una apertura muy grande para evitar viñeteo en la imágenes. Es un accesorio muy útil para astro fotografía al permitir montar cámaras (sobre todo las dedicadas para astro fotografía) y alcanzar el enfoque trasero (back focus) adecuado. Un punto a considerar es que queda un poco flojo al colocarlo con los espaciadores de mi cámara (ZWO ASÍ 249 mc) pero lo soluciono al colocar uno de los espaciadores delgados que incluye la cámara. El precio, como todo en este pasatiempo, el algo elevado.
