Brilliant replacement battery for my Garmin edge 520 plus. I was only getting around 1.5-2 hours cycling before the old battery died. The new replacement is amazing with around 4.5 to 5 hours run time. Installed in around 35 mins. Follow the instructions or better still go onto YouTube there are plenty of tutorials.Take your time the rewards are worth it.

I gave it one star because it’s definitely a battery, but…..Once I’d cut wires and reconnected the speaker on my Garmin 820 to the new battery, I found that the connector to attach it to the mother board didn’t clip in. A waste of time.To be honest, having had a good few years of service from my Garmin I should have retired it with dignity into the bottom draw, and pulled the trigger on a new unit.It is possible to replace the battery on the 820, but yes it’s fiddly, and if you do achieve it, you’ll be left wondering how long it’s going to be before either water gets into the unit or whether it’s going to fall apart or stop working if you fart too close to it.Come on rider. You deserve a new head unit!
