My "Go 50" sat nav would no longer hold a charge; and would only work when connected to a usb charger or to the car's auxiliary power outlet. This battery was shown as being compatible and once fitted it brought the Go 50 back to life - showing about 50% charge. I then put it on charge for 2 hours as stated in the guidance; and its held its full charge for a week (that as long as it has been fitted).There is plenty of guidance on replacing the battery but it was not all that easy - a tool kit is probably essential. To fit the battery you need to open the case, then remove the plug connecting the old battery to the circuit board and then remove the circuit board, in order to remove the old battery beneath it.To get the circuit board out meant seven phillips 0000 screws to remove. Removing the first five screws chewed up two 0000 screwdrivers and the head of the remaining two screws got chewed up, so had to be drilled out. Some of the removed screws had curred residues of a well-known strong thread-lock sealant, so battery replacement was probably not intended to be a user-replaceable-option.The battery was the same physical size, had the same three wire plug, and the same voltage, but a higher mAh rating (950 instead of 920 mAh). So that was good. The model number was different (the old one was FWM1546014189) and the wire colours were different (the old one being red, blue and black).Having got this far, I fitted the new battery and then the circuit board. At this point the front, with the display, had not been fitted but I must have hit the On button and the "TomTom" tune played. So a good sign. Turned it off, completed the reassembly and turned it back on. Worked perfectly, but I'd not charged the battery as recommended. So that came next.I'd certainly come back to this supplier should I need another specialist battery, for a phone, camera, sat nav, etc.

Sostituisce perfettamente la batteria originale, oramai esaurita. Con una modica spesa il navigatore è tornato come nuovo. Spedizione abbastanza veloce.
