I needed a D-Tap to DC 12v cable for my photo studio light to connect to a v-mount battery pack and this cable from Cerrxian does exactly that. I like the length and the coil design so I don't have too much excess cable dangling off the light stand. The D-Tap connector is well-made and works well. However, one issue I had with this locking screw design, is it was very challenging to screw into the connection port on my light. The locking screw on the cable has a deeper geometry than my OEM locking screw plug design and it took a long while for me to get it tightened up. I actually thought the locking screw design wouldn't fit, but I finally got it tightened and got it to work!Overall, the cable works well. The price is particularly good. The quality of the cable is decent. The only negative I have with this cable is how difficult it was to tighten the DC plug onto my studio light.
