De snelheid en betrouwbaarheid van deze kaartlezer is zeer goed.Echter heeft deze voor mij 1 groot negatief punt.Op de onderkant zit een zeer krachtige magneet, dit om de kaartlezer aan je scherm te kunnen "plakken".Maar pc's en magneten gaan niet goed samen. Belachelijk om dit er dus op te zetten!Ik heb de sticker aan de onderkant los gemaakt en dan de magneet met de schroef verwijderd.Perfect nu.

Speeds are excellent, however with cards from other brands compatibility issues can be expected. In my case the angel bird card disconnects often on my Mac pc, sometimes it isn't recognised or transfers are interrupted. I tried everything to improve this, but to no avail. Too late to send it back, otherwise I would go for it.

For some reason my Nikon won't connect to my iMac to transfer my photos from the new Z8 memory stick I got, the CFExpress. So I had to buy a card reader. I wasn't going to go for a cheap one because I'm sick of things being cheap, but this was affordable with the right reviews for me. It only took about 15min to transfer 2400 photos into my Lightroom. And I checked the heat on the reader, and it's not too hot. It's warm, but not enough to burn you and complain on Amazon about it. It is an excellent purchase and well worth the money. I figured it would've taken an hour to import, but no. 15min is nice. Don't know what other readers do and how long it would've taken, but for how many photos I took (including a couple video files!) I'd say if you're on the fence, get this. The one con is the magnet doesn't help us Mac users as there's nothing to use the magnet on. But that's okay cuz it's only temporary and I can put it away when done.

As a card reader for cfexpress & sd cards it does its job quickly. I’m pleased that I bought it, it seems like a quality item. The cards fit positively in the slots.

Ich hatte diesen Reader schonmal in Benutzung vor einigen Jahren und habe dann das Kamera System gewechselt - nur noch SD-Karten. Auch hier habe ich den Prograd reader, absolut TOP.Als ich nun wieder eine Kamera mit CFexpress B gekauft haben, dachte ich mir „hmm, muss nicht schon wieder 98 Euro für einen Reader ausgeben“ und einen billigen versucht. Tja, wer billig kauft, kauft 2x. Gerät war nichtmal halb so schnell wie der ProGrade, direkt zurück. Augen zu und Karte durch. Ist der beste Reader. Sogar 1 USB-C auf USB-C Kabel dabei UND ein USB-C auf USB-A Kabel. Top.
