It doesn't matter if I switch it to external or internal, it always keeps working as internal, really terrible quality control. Once it switched shortly (even though reversed from what the text says) but when I tried using it, it automatically switched back

These snap ring pliers are so good they’re made in USA they have multiple sizes switch from internal to external with the flip of a switch they have a lifetime warranty and are the same tool as available in the MAC tools truck for less $ and channel lock being a Stanley B&D brand like Mac and so many more your getting their quality and they’re excellent customer service if needed I’ve never had a set of snap ring pliers that worked this good or that I didn’t need extra snap rings to install a single one cuz I’d inevitably shoot one or more across the room the tips are interchangeable and it comes with a great selection plus spare set screws and the Alan key to switch them out all for like 40$ Canadian WHAT? Yeah made in USA life time warranty replacement parts available for affordable prices and comes with the tool and spare parts to get you going they’re built like a tank they work wonders and will easily last the test of time get them if you haven’t already I’m tickled with how good they are multi tools are rarely as good an investment as these ones have been and they’re built so well I have no doubt they’re gonna outlast me

A quality tool, I like the changeover from internal to external with the slider switch. Very clever! I found the included spring that keeps the tool open to be a bit much, but it’s easily removable if you want. Much better than the other type of ring tool where you need to disassemble the tool and change the fulcrum. Not a tool I’d use all the time, but when you need to remove/install those rings, it helps so much to use the right tool for the job at hand.Took a long while to get here, but worth the wait.
