This bra fits true to size. It is not your typical minimizer bra. Once you have it on your girls still have a good shape to them, they are not all squished like most minimizing bras cause the girls to be squished. Very good support and comfortable. Band offers back smoothing. This is not a sexy bra for date night which is why I only gave it 3 stars for flattering. This bra cost more than a Soma bra or a Wacoal bra and not as much as a Simone Perele bra but with foundation wear you definitely get what you pay for.

I have no idea of the minimising effect of this bra, but it is the most comfortable bra I have worn in a very long time. A bit of a gamble buying underwear on line but based on customer reviews I decided to buy one in each colour, nude and black. I'm also dubious about a 3 - hook closure but the fit around the back and under the bust is very comfortable. I did not have that dreadful constricted feeling the longer I wore the bra. The cups are light and soft but with a soft soft lining and don't give an upholstered look or feel. Will definitely order again.

I first ordered the 34 E expecting that it would fit well. It seemed too small and skimpy in the straps and band with only 2 hooks in the back. I then ordered a 36 E which was too large but it had the substantial wider straps as well as the band with 3 hooks that I would expect when ordering a minimizer bra with an E (DD) cup. If the 34 E had the wider band and straps the bra would have been a better fit for me. It was a disappointment.

I normally purchase my Chantelle bras from Nordstrom, but their product line has diminished, so I purchased through Amazon. This is the style bra I have worn for years and never encountered a problem, but the one purchased from Amazon broke after only six weeks. I should have purchased the same bra from the Chantelle website for a couple of dollars more, now I am out $80 plus dollars. The stitching on the strap in the back where it is sewn to the bra raveled so the strap separated from the bra. This has never happened to any bra I have ever purchased, even cheap flimsy bras. This is not normal Chantelle quality....beware!!
