I even once washed it with water which in hindsight wasn't a good idea as it filled up with water. But it went in the oven afterwards and it still worked perfectly.

When I was buying a small oven thermometer, I haven't realised how VERY small it is. That's my own fault. I wanted to glue it to the front glass, which turned out to be impossible. Also my own fault for not checking first. But the real problem is that it simply doesn't work correctly. It measures 160 Celsius (if you have VERY good eyesight) inside the oven heated up to 220 Celsius.I wanted to return it, but Amazon just told me to dispose of it and returned the money. (Thank you!) So, I got what I paid €0 for, and added some recycling to the existing mountains of rubbish. "You can't afford cheap stuff when you're poor" proves right again, and the only positive I can think of is… um… none.

Works and seems fairly accurate. The only negative is that the hanging part is not long enough so it always falls down when moving items in and out of the oven.

Creo que ya lo he dicho todo en el título, pero es la verdad, no daba un gramo de confianza y resulta que puedo hacer las recetas sin miedo a que se pasen. Ahora toca comprar un temporizador para que no se quemen.

I was looking for one that was easy to read….and this one is.

A friend gave us the tip that oven temperature indicators are often out so when baking you can get varied results, so we bought one of these. It's great, much better to see when the oven is too temperature, fits well on the shelves, seems pretty durable, and I would say has improved our baking success rate.
