PERFECT FOR MY NEEDS! I measured height between counter and bottom of upper cabinets, 18". From top of black, top ring there is smple room for stuff to stick up. 2 med. onions, 1 lemon, 3 kiwis, 1 cantaloupe, 4 medium apples and 3 medium bananas and room for more! We had already eaten about 6 pieces of fruit before it was ordered, so it really IS XL. My style is clean, simple lines. While I was disappointed it didn't come in chrome/silver/pewter to match the other hardware, the black , I think, really looks great. This was the ONLY "fruit basket" on Amazon which I liked. The price appeared to be about US$5 too high for my budget but once I put it to use,,it was well worth it. Would buy again as a gift, even for a wedding gift of discerning people! ;-) Will update should any problems arise!

This fruit bowl looks lovely, deceptively spacious, it holds quite a lot of fruit as you can see from the picture, it feels sturdy and good quality, I found it extremely easy to assemble. No complaints, good buy, would recommend

Il est vraiment très sympa ne prends pas trop de place mais surtout très pratique pour y ranger les fruits et même des légumes. Solide je le recommande
