We purchased a Bunn coffee make earlier this year and discovered that to keep the coffee maker quiet, you have to clean it regularly. We use a combination of all-natural Truly Free Dishwasher Detergent and one of these Chemex brushes. Literally, five minutes to run the carafe full of hot water with Truly Free and then two minutes to run the Chemex brush around the inside of the carafe and the carafe is sparkling new. Its wire construction also allows you to bend it to any needed shape. Highly recommended!

If you have a chemex, buy this right now. It is absolutely fantastic!The bendable brush allows it to get at every surface inside that crazy hourglass shape with enough force to scrub out anything. It literally makes an old, stained chemex look brand new in one wash.

Cleans my Chemex unit perfectly. A little bulky but I like the flexibility of the brush to get the hard to reach places.

Ive recently gone back to Chemex after settling coffee-wise for 50 years. Have their wonderful automatic machine. It is a little hard to clean the pots. This (with a little salt) solves that problem. Yay!

This broke taking it out of the Chemex the first time. So sad. It did a decent job of cleaning, but still didn’t clean the bottom crease.
