I ordered a 2 pack of Aidea mitts before and wanted to compare them to this one after seeing this on sale to see if it was different. Could chemical guys mitts really be better? They all look the same! Well…it is DIFFERENT. First off right away I don’t know how but this one is softer. They look identical. I held them both in my hand and both were brand new. Same color. Inside this one is nicer finished with a darker cloth, but the Aidea is sewn to fit like a mitt. Meaning it has a place for your thumb and fingers. This one is just one big open mitt. Personally I have never stuck my hand in them so that doesn’t matter to me. SOFTNESS matters because it’s touching your paint and this one FEELS softer.Now with all that said it’s made in China and they probably just run it through a wash with fabric softener to make it feel more premium. I don’t know. I am just guessing.

I've been using a Meguiars wash mitt for a couple of years. And it has served me very well.However, I recently treated myself to one of these CG Chenille mitts ... and I love it.Nice and soft.But so so soooo absorbent. It holds so much water (car shampoo). Its almost like carrying a gallon of shampoo in your hand. Consequently, each dip into the wash bucket goes twice as far on the car.The only think better than this mitt would be two of them ... one for each hand, lol :-)

Lot of noodles to trap dirt, but too heavy when soaked in water. Have to use 2 hands to wash the car with it.

Washes nicely and even if I have a black car, doesn't scratch it all up. I use the 2 bucket method, so once the mit is rinced, it is like new every time. The mit holds up great. I have washed my car a dozen times and I have not yet seen any signs of wear or breaking down. I havent tried alot of mits overtime, but I am pretty happy with this one. I Will buy it again
