Second child, first holiday, the weaning mess was getting too much so I looked around for disposable bibs. These compostable ones made me feel a bit less guilty about not taking reusables. They've done a good job - there's a slightly absorbent layer on top, with a water resistant later underneath that stops most mess getting through. Obviously they're not as sturdy or as much coverage as her usual apron bibs, but they are small to pack and I don't have a dirty bib to deal with so it's a fair compromise for travel. I've used non-compostable before when I needed some at short notice and these work just as well. They have sticky tabs to put them on - yes she can rip it off if she's not in the mood or food has taken too long to come, but otherwise they stay put. There's a good amount in the packet so I don't need more yet, but would buy again if I needed them.

Il retro impermeabile protegge perfettamente i vestiti, mentre la parte anteriore assorbe bene eventuali fuoriuscite di cibo o biberon.Uno dei dettagli che ho apprezzato di più è la taschina raccoglibriciole: sembra un piccolo extra, ma aiuta davvero a contenere il disastro quando il pasto prende una piega "creativa". L’adesivo per fissarli dietro il collo tiene bene e non irrita la pelle delicata del bambino.Perfetti in viaggio, al ristorante, o anche semplicemente per evitare pile di bucato in più durante giornate impegnative. Ovviamente non sono ecologici quanto i bavaglini in tessuto riutilizzabili, ma per le occasioni in cui la comodità è fondamentale, sono insostituibili.Li ricomprerò sicuramente!

Bought these as baby has started solids and there are times when we have to eat our meals outside of home. Would usually bring our silicone bib with us, but this is definitely convenient. To put the bib on the baby, it has sticky ends that you put together and you need to rip off the bib when done as the glue is strong and secure. I would just advise to double check that the correct side (the plastic, waterproof side) is facing out before you secure it on to the baby. Furthermore if you have a very curious baby it might be good to practise usage a few times at home as my baby seemed to think it was a toy, which definitely distracted him from eating his food! :D In the end, a worthwhile purchase, highly recommend!
