This product is so good I ordered it twice. Actually, I bought the XL thinking I’d give it a try. Was extremely skeptical. Extremely. When it arrived I was blown away. Although it was too big, I kept it and immediately ordered a Large. This vest is a lifesaver. I was so happy to have found some tech (and make no mistake, this is tech) that exceeded my expectations I didn’t mind paying full price again for the correct size. I do pest control and very often wear a black jacket and black pants in the 800 degree heat of the summer while spraying pesticide. This bit of kit is my most prized tool that makes working in the extreme heat bearable. (No, it’s not actually 800 degrees but that what I usually say when it’s hot as cluck). Buy this now. If you don’t like it, I’ll give you your money back 👍

These vets are awesome!! I'm a mail carrier and they're life savers! In the summer when I'm out in 90* -115* heat it really helps to keep me cooled down for hours! I soak it in water then continue delivering mail. (Just be careful not to get the mail wet)... I wish I had found these years ago! I highly recommend them to anyone working outside!

I originally bought this for myself to try, since I work outdoors all summer, but it was too big for me. It did fit my husband though, and he quickly stole it. He loves wearing it under his motorcycle jacket on hot days and says it does an amazing job of keeping him cool. And it stays cool for a very long time. He’s left it draped on the back of a chair overnight and it was still ”working” the next morning. The only drawback is that gravity will eventually pull any excess liquid to the bottom, getting his pants wet. So, he suggests just making sure you ring it out really well before wearing.

This product actually works. The only problem is absolutely do not follow the instructions which were obviously written by someone who has never touched the product. The instructions tell you to soak in a bucket of water for several minutes. Do this and you have about 20 pounds of sopping wet vest that you definitely will not put on. A competitor with basically the same vest (who charges about $80 more!) got it right. Soak in a bucket, etc of clean water but NO MORE THAN 10 SECONDS MAX! Remove it from the bucket and VERY LIGHTLY squeeze some of the water out. You can pat it dry with a towel if you like. It worked fantastic outside even though the humidity was about 80%. I placed it in my vehicle after using it where it stayed for about a day. It was still retaining moisture (a good thing). The only problem is it had started to "sour" (like a damp towel that wasn't hung to dry) so I couldn't use it right away. Washed it by hand with some hand soap, rinsed, lightly wrung it out, and hung up overnight. It was ready to go again the next day. I definitely plan on using it the next time I work on my truck in the heat or cut the grass. Very happy with this purchase and the price was far below simular products.
