I bought the product to understand the level of sewer gas leak, that I could smell. I wanted to know if it's at dangerous levels. In this environment, this H2S sensor always read 0 PPM, even if I used a pump to send air into its hole.

I am impressed with this monitor. It is small and easy to operate and read. The battery is easily charged and lasts for an amazingly long time - several days at least.There are three warning mechanisms which means if H2S is detected it is unlikely that you will not be alerted. The alerts include flashing lights, vibration and a loud alarm.We had some concerns that there might be some sewer gas including H2S coming from a basement drain in our house. The good news is that the detector has not sensed any. This is a good value for the price and performance of the product.
