These will be used at an upcoming music around the world event for preschoolers featuring international music and the opportunity to make and/or decorate some instruments, including these. I thought I might have to purchase paints but during a test run I was pleasantly surprised at how well and easily these paint markers worked. The instruments themselves are not terribly loud but make a pleasant sound, and I’m sure we’ll appreciate that they aren’t louder when 24 preschooler musician/artists start playing their creations. The maracas are nicely made, especially for the price, and a perfect size for young kids. Each is in its own bag, which will reassure parents we aren’t handing their kids used instruments. Overall, very pleased with these.

They really skimped on whatever they put inside them to make the noise. I've had the same size, much louder.

These are mini shakers, but they are a lot of fun to color and use for our music sessions. They are fairly durable, even if they are on the smaller side.Overall, they have a pretty good sound quality and they fill the niche that I was looking for.
