Although intended for boat use, these threads fit other plumbing and could be used more widely. Smooth and clean brass cut threads make for a smooth and easily tightened plug. Handy pack of 4 aids shipping costs.

Many boat owners have drain plugs that randomly disappear. Know that I have had that happen to me before, where I arrive at the boat landing, and for some odd reason, the dream plug is missing. There is nothing more frustrating than being ready to go and having to take an hour-long detour to the local store to pick up a new drain plug. This kit is perfect for keeping on the boat in case that happens. Allows you to be able to save an hour and get on the lake as quickly as possible if your drain plug is randomly missing.Perfectly with my boat and I look forward to using it in the future as well.

Absolute perfect replacement for drain plugs in most medium sized recreational boats. If you have a screw in brass plug, it is probably this size. The only difference between these and what is in my boat is that these are nice and shiny and have sharper threads.Because it is ABSOLUTELY critical for your day out on the water, I recommend keeping some spares in case you somehow misplace your original. One in the glove box of your boat, and one in the console of each and any vehicle you may be using to transport your boat is what I recommend.Good value for a 4 pack.
