Oh my gosh these are so cute!!!! I absolutely love them straight out of the box. They are crafted well and look very stylish. I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered a half size down and they fit perfectly. If you have wide feet these may not be great for you as they are somewhat narrow.

You can't go wrong with brogues; smart enough for the office but great with jeans for a smart/casual look.The good thing about these Clarks brogues is that they come in a variety of widths, C (narrow), D (average) and E (wide). Having narrow feet, I find it difficult to find shoes that fit. I originally tried a pair of these in a Clarks shop. The D fitting was too wide for me and I was about to give up when the assistant told me that came in narrow fitting. I was amazed as shops mostly cater for wider fittings, never narrow. I tried these brogues on in a black patent and they fitted perfectly. Once I'd worn in the black ones and knew they were going to be comfortable I ordered these from Amazon. The insoles are fully padded, particularly around the ball of the foot - so they're comfortable as well as smart. I'm hoping that Clarks bring these out in the autumn in wine. I shall definitely be buying another pair - as long as they keep making the narrow fitting.I would point out that when selecting the size and width fitting, the fact that the narrow fitting is greyed out gives the impression it is not available in the narrow fitting but I selected it anyway and my order went through OK. Just thought I would point that out as it looks as though various sizes and widths aren't available when they are.
